In this novel The Help by Kathryn Stockett I've read the first twenty pages. A new character has just been created. Her name is Mae Mobley she was born on a early Sunday morning people usually referred to her as a "church baby". She has big brown eyes and honey color curls. But I'm wondering how Aibileen is her mother. Aibileen is a black maid and Mae is white. There was a class discussion about this and we have already made some predictions. Some people said rape or she's a care taker type thing. The best part was when the author described the baby after she was born. Life is beautiful.
